Program Development Consultant
G{Code} is seeking a qualified Program Development Consultant that can assist us as we refine and enhance our key programs for a September 2024 launch.
the program development consultant will:
- Conduct an Assessment of Our Current Capabilities
- Develop a Theory of Change
- Develop an Action Plan
We invite proposals and look forward to partnering with a consultant who can help enhance our functional capabilities and strategic planning processes.
Consultants interested in this project should submit proposals that include:
- A detailed methodology for conducting the program assessment, developing the theory of change, and implementing program restructuring.
- Qualifications and relevant experience, highlighting expertise relevant to the project.
- Examples of past work or case studies that demonstrate successful completion of similar projects.
- A proposed timeline for the project, including major milestones and deliverables.
- A detailed budget that should not exceed $30,000
- Contact information for at least three references who can attest your ability in similar projects.
facilitator for intro to web development
We are searching for a contracted facilitator for our Intro to Web Dev program to provide instruction, guidance, and support to our fellows.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Virtual instruction on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals to a 20-25 person cohort.
- Participation in activities outside of sessions including office hours, community time (movie nights, game nights, etc), and G{Code} team retros.
- Supervise breakout groups, interact with students in completing group projects during class sessions.
- Coordination with the G{Code} team to ensure that lesson materials and assignments are prepped ahead of the session and incorporate feedback from the cohort.
- Assigning, reviewing, and grading classwork and homework.
- Create and support a fun atmosphere for learning.
per diem facilitator for intro to web development
We are searching for a per Diem contracted facilitator for our Intro to Web Dev program to provide instruction, guidance, and support to our fellows.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Virtual instruction on HTML, CSS, and Javascript fundamentals to a 20-25 person cohort.
- Coordination with the G{Code} team to ensure that lesson materials and assignments are prepped ahead of the session and incorporate feedback from the cohort.
- Be available for team retros for sessions facilitated.
- Supervise breakout groups, interact with fellows in completing group projects during class sessions.
- Balance approach of when to step in to help fellows, and when to challenge fellows.
- Create and support a fun atmosphere for learning.
per diem community advocate for intro to web development
G{Code} is seeking a Per Diem Community Advocate to join our team working to build a pipeline for women and nonbinary people of color in tech.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Coordination with the G{Code} team to ensure that lesson materials and assignments are prepped ahead of session and incorporate feedback from the cohort.
- Classroom support.
- Participation in activities outside of sessions including office hours, community time (movie nights, game nights, etc), and G{Code} team retros.
- Keeping attendance.
- Ordering lunch cards.
per diem facilitator for intro to data analytics
We are searching for a per Diem contracted facilitator for our Intro to Data Analytics program to provide instruction, guidance, and support to our fellows.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Virtually instruct on data analytics fundamentals to a 20-25 person cohort.
- Coordinate with the G{Code} team to ensure that lesson materials and assignments are prepped ahead of the session and incorporate feedback from the cohort.
- Supervise breakout groups, interact with fellows in completing group projects during class sessions.
- Aid fellows in completing projects and homework as needed.
- Create and support a fun atmosphere for learning.
tech apprentice
- Assist the tech team in real-world projects and tasks.
- Learn the fundamentals of coding, programming, and software development.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Contribute to basic software development and maintenance.
- Gain exposure to various programming languages and tools.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills.
